TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Green Fire ltd only accepts orders for and sells the goods subject to the following conditions. These terms and conditions shall prevail over any terms and conditions of the customer.

Risk
The goods shall be and remain at the customers risk when the goods have left the premises of Green Fire. If delivered by us (or our carriers) the goods shall be and remain the customers risk after delivery.

Any goods supplied (eg. fabric) by a customer of the company shall at all times remain at the risk of the customer and the company shall not be responsible in any way for loss or damage.

Delivery
Dates for delivery should be within 28 working days from order although some products will arrive earlier than this. Many of the larger items will be made specially for you and may take a little longer; we will inform you when ordering of delivery times. Green Fire ltd shall not be liable for the consequence of any delay. The company is bound to deliver goods and perform services by a specific date or within a specific period, only if it is agreed by written acceptance. We accept no responsibility for delays in completion of the orders due to labour disputes or other factors beyond our control. No liability will be accepted for late delivery resulting in 3rd party claim.

In the event of the buyer refusing to accept or make possible the delivery of goods after delivery arrangements have been made, Green Fire shall (without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to it) be entitled to charge the buyer with all packing, unpacking and transportation costs involved in such an abortive delivery.

Payment

A. Payment in full is required at the time of placing an order unless expressly agreed otherwise by us in writing.
B. No goods will be dispatched unless paid for in full including all delivery costs.
C. Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise indicated.
D. The title of goods remains with Green Fire ltd until all goods and services are paid for in full.

Green Fire ltd has the right to vary the price of goods if there is any increase in the total price of materials to Green Fire ltd arising from any cause beyond their control. The customer may cancel the order provided written notice is given to Green Fire ltd within 48 hours of the customer receiving notification of the increase of price.

Measurements
Measurements given are for guidelines only and to overall dimensions. If exact measurements are required please ask when ordering. We will advise you of any changes beyond our control. We recommend customers measure the access to their homes to ensure larger items can be delivered and fit. Measurements supplied by the customer should be double checked and supplied in writing.

Cancellation - important
Many products in this catalogue will be made and finished for you specially and therefore cannot be cancelled without cost to you. A full refund will only be given if an order is cancelled within 7 working days of our receipt of order.

Orders cancelled after  7 working days from receipt of order will be charged at a minimum of 30% of order value. Our estimate of costs will be deemed correct.

Your statutory rights will not be affected.

Guarantee
We guarantee our products, workmanship and materials for 1 year. This does not include damage by excessive conditions or force, nor does it include paint finishes, fabric or parts that would wear under normal use. e.g. fire grate bases, seat pads, glass, etc. nor does it include damage to goods by negligence of the customer. Proof of purchase will be required.

From time to time we may monitor and record the telephone conversations made and received by our staff in order that we offer you the highest standard of service.

We reserve the right to alter any design or part of a whole composite design of goods at any time. We reserve also the right to withdraw any goods or part from sale.

 

Shipping Policy

It is important that you include a shipping policy for your customers.  Your shipping policy should include the following information:

  • The regions you ship goods to
  • The costs associated with shipping to each region
  • Free shipping, if any is available and how to quality
  • How shipping is calculated on multiple items or any exceptional goods
  • Anticipated processing and delivery times
  • Provide details of any priority shipping options

Returns Policy

Damages & returns
We examine goods before leaving our premises and we accept no responsibility for damage caused by careless handling or storage on the customers’ premises or sites or through incorrect fixings. The customer shall inspect the goods upon delivery or collection before signing acceptance and notify the company of any damages or shortfall within 3 working days.

Should any goods whilst in the course of transit arrive in a damaged condition we are unable to entertain any claim for damage unless we are notified in writing within 3 days of the date of delivery.

Goods damaged in transit or wrongly addressed will be collected free of charge by our carriers and replaced by us as soon as possible. Goods should not be returned before contacting us.

Glass
We will thoroughly check glass products before dispatch for scratches or chips. Glass products must be checked upon delivery, as we can entertain no claims for damage after delivery has taken place.

Privacy Policy

•  Privacy Policy - Our company will not store any financial details of customers when buying on this website using credit or debit cards. Any payments will be via paypal on the web or over the phone. Customer names and addresses will be stored for tax purposes.
