TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Green Fire ltd only accepts orders for and sells the goods subject to the following conditions. These terms and conditions shall prevail over any terms and conditions of the customer.

Risk
The goods shall be at the customer’s risk upon delivery, except in business transactions where the goods shall be at the business customer’s risk when the goods have left the premises of Green Fire

Delivery
Dates for delivery should be within 28 working days from order although some products will arrive earlier than this. Many of the larger items will be made specially for you and may take a little longer; we will inform you when ordering of delivery times. Green Fire ltd shall not be liable for the consequence of any delay. The company is bound to deliver goods and perform services by a specific date or within a specific period, only if it is agreed by written acceptance. We accept no responsibility for delays in completion of the orders due to labour disputes or other factors beyond our control. No liability will be accepted for late delivery resulting in 3rd party claim.

In the event of the buyer refusing to accept or make possible the delivery of goods after delivery arrangements have been made, Green Fire shall (without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to it) be entitled to charge the buyer with all packing, unpacking and transportation costs involved in such an abortive delivery.

Payment
A. Payment in full is required at the time of placing an order unless expressly agreed otherwise by us in writing.
B. No goods will be dispatched unless paid for in full including all delivery costs.
C. Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise indicated.
D. The title of goods remains with Green Fire ltd until all goods and services are paid for in full.

Green Fire ltd has the right to vary the price of goods if there is any increase in the total price of materials to Green Fire ltd arising from any cause beyond their control. The customer may cancel the order provided written notice is given to Green Fire ltd within 48 hours of the customer receiving notification of the increase of price.

Measurements
Measurements given are for guidelines only and to overall dimensions. If exact measurements are required please ask when ordering. We will advise you of any changes beyond our control. We recommend customers measure the access to their homes to ensure larger items can be delivered and fit. Measurements supplied by the customer should be double checked and supplied in writing.

Cancellation
If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a Contract at any time within seven working days, beginning on the day after you received the Products. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products, but will be liable for all costs incurred for the return of the product, in accordance with our refunds policy (set out in clause 8 below).

To cancel a Contract, you must inform us in writing. You must also return the Product(s) to us immediately, in the same condition in which you received them, and at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.

You will not have any right to cancel a Contract for the supply of any of the following Products:

  • Specially Ordered Products that have been custom made to suit your requirements or which cannot readily be returned.

Details of this statutory right, and an explanation of how to exercise it, are provided in the Dispatch Confirmation. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.


Guarantee
We guarantee our products, workmanship and materials for 1 year. This does not include damage by excessive conditions or force, nor does it include paint finishes, fabric or parts that would wear under normal use. e.g. fire grate bases, seat pads, glass, etc. nor does it include damage to goods by negligence of the customer. Proof of purchase will be required.

From time to time we may monitor and record the telephone conversations made and received by our staff in order that we offer you the highest standard of service.

We reserve the right to alter any design or part of a whole composite design of goods at any time. We reserve also the right to withdraw any goods or part from sale.

 

Returns Policy

RETURNS
Returns will be accepted in the following circumstances

  1. for Products returned within the seven-day cooling-off period, we will, subject to return of the Products to us, process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. The Products must be returned as new and in their original packaging. In this case, we will refund the price of the Product in full but you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
  2. for orders cancelled once the goods have been dispatched from our distribution center. Such cancellation of orders will result in a refund of the Products, less any costs incurred by us in recovering the items back to our distribution center.
  3. for defective products we will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund for the defective Product. Products returned by you because of a defect not caused by you or your servant or agent will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.
  4. Products damaged in transit must be noted at the time of delivery, documented on the delivery note and delivery refused. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the Products for damage with the delivery driver and to notify us of any damages within a reasonable period. We will not accept claims for Products damaged in transit that were signed for as being in good condition.

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

Privacy Policy

•  Privacy Policy - Our company will not store any financial details of customers when buying on this website using credit or debit cards. Any payments will be via paypal on the web or over the phone. Customer names and addresses will be stored for tax purposes.
