Ian has been a traditional blacksmith since 1980 and his company, Newton Forge, has been supplying ironworks and wood burning stoves to the homeowner for many years. Demand for wood burners has increased as has people's awareness of our environment and the need to save energy; from this Green Fire was born.

Founded in 2006 by Ian and his life long friend Ken, Green Fire's mission is to provide home owners and businesses with eco friendly and cost efficient products which, by using renewable sources, reduces carbon emissions and ultimately your fuel bill.

Green Fire can help with advice and supply of a range of renewable products these include wood burners, pellet stoves, biomass boilers, solar panels, air source and ground source heat pumps, wind turbines and more. We even sweep chimneys!!!

We at Green Fire are different to many other companies in that we are not trying to push one particular type of renewable energy regardless of it's suitability to your needs.
